MERRY CHRISTMAS!

To our dear family and friends:
We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This is much easier to do then to write in the card, and with our busy lives, easy is nice. Much has happened this year:
Spencer turned 8 and was baptized, he is in third grade and was determined at the begining of the year (before school started) that he was going to fail. If you ask him now, it's not so bad, his teacher makes book reports fun, he's naturally good at math and the science isn't to hard either. He loves his sports and we try to keep him to three, otherwise him and sister would like to do everything. If you scroll through our blog and go to the older posts you can see just what it is we do as a family.
Mercedez is now 7 1/2 and is in the 2ND grade. She does very well, loves to talk, (wonder where she gets that from) and is and will forever be working on the talking during class. Both she and brother are great big sibling to our BABY. Some of you didn't know that we were expecting, no worries, now you know.
Seth is our BABY - he loves to smile, and seems to enjoy our family. We can't wait to see if he is more like Spencer or Mercedez, I bet, he is right smack in between. He is into arching his back, trying to roll over, and loves to suck on his finger's, shirt, bib, whatever he can find. He just had is 4 month check up and on the charts at 25 1/2 inches long and 17.5 lbs. He is already growing out of 9 month shirts. Spencer and Mercedez love to hold him, and he gets a kick out of them.
Sheldon just finished his finals, getting mostly B's and can't forget the A. Not bad for his first term. Maybe Master's won't be as hard as he thought..hahaha....Other then that he has no life, no time to play sports and no time to fish.
I am always taking care of Seth, playing with Seth, dressing Seth, let's see - ya everything SETH. The house work is non existent, and the cooking, well I never did that anyway! I can't complain though, I live a pretty good life for a housewife.
Please write us and let us know how you and your families are doing. For those of you who sent us a Christmas cards and they came back to you - we are so sorry - our forwarding postal service seems to have expired. Resend them (email me at samunns@hotmail.com, this is our spare email address), we would love to have them.
Lots of love to each of you!

Seth watching mom

I was making dinner two nights ago, and I have started letting Seth sit up at the counter. He of course enjoys it more when mom gives him treats, so this night it was a carrot, the night before it was celery. He has no teeth for those of you freaking out.

KIDS IN THE KITCHEN

As a family we have decided that the kids and us will put our names in a hat and draw, every week one of is in charge of one specific dinner and breakfast. This is of course to help Sheldon with the burden of cooking..hehehehe...On a serious note, it really is to help them because their not to young to learn how to cook simple meals. They must have Shel's gene because only on a rare occasion am I willing to be in the kitchen.Spencer was this past week as you can see he chose a "very" healthy meal. It included: chili spaghetti, garlic bread and fruit. He was very proud of himself, as you can tell in the picture.

Spencer making a gingerbread house

This past week I was able to go into Spencer's class and help the kids make gingerbread homes. This is Spencer hard at work, I will have to download the final results tonight.

BATH TIME

Here's our Seth - ee- poo! He rarley get's to take a bath because in this house the water heater is a piece of crap. We have spoken with the landlord and as of now little man get's to take showers. So as you can see from his face he was thrilled to be in a bath.

Munns Children Photo Shoot!

This last friday the kids had there photo shoot for this years Christmas card. It went off very well. While we were waiting for our turn I watched as other parents struggled with their kids, or their babies were crying. In my mind I kept thinking "Please no crying". Anyway Seth did great, he loved all the attention. And of course my other two bugs did well, there are some great pictures of Mercedez getting bored, Spencer with a plastered on smile and Seth sticking his tonge out at the camera. By the end of it we had 118 pictures, and a large bill. But like I told Sheldon, "their only little once". Enjoy the pictures, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.....

Here are some photos we took at the dinner table last night. Sheldon thought we might try out the chair my brother Alex and his family bought for Seth. The photos of Seth in his bouncy seat are ones I took some random day. He loves his cow and he loves the elephant I bought the other day at Target, I told Sheldon I need to go buy 5 "Ellie's" so Seth will never loose his favorite animal. We are always telling him " Get it", it's something we did with all our kids. I know it sounds like something you tell a dog, but their not dogs their our beautifuls...
