So our lives have been different with Sheldon being deployed with the military. He will be home in the next month and a half but it has been a long 4 months so far. This is the first time he has ever deployed in his military career and for that we are very grateful. The kids had a hard time of it, but as time goes on it is getting easier for everyone. Seth has had the hardest time, but he too is mellowing out and that is good for me. We are keeping busy and continue to do the things we would normally do, except for one LARGE change, Mercedez is NOT doing winter swim. At first I was disappointed, but as time goes on it is a nice brake from the everyday swim and long weekends at meets. Spencer and her are doing basketball and they seem to enjoy that. Seth is taking swim lessons at our local YMCA, and is a fast learner ~ having said that, he was born into a family of fish:) We have a dog, her name is PEANUT, I got her as protection for me, but she isn't that kind of a dog:(. She is a very social dog and would let anyone come into our home if they gave her a bone or a treat of some kind. It is sometimes more then I can handle taking care of her, there are many things I didn't know about dogs and many of them gross me out!!! I have tried to find her a new home, but it doesn't seem to be in my card deck to have her go. Will see, maybe another day. Here are randon pictures of us, I will add more later.
