The day of rest

What a beautiful day it is here, the heat died down and the sun continues to be out. Put those two together and it makes for a nice spring day. Sheldon and I are making the kids homemade pizza for lunch, and then planning on taking them out to the base so they can ride their bikes in peace.
This week has been alright, nothing overwhelming, yet nothing to seriously boast about.
This coming week will be one of those that I will wish go by quickly, not that it is going to be terrible but, TDY is coming up again for the week and we (kids and I) always hate that.
Last night the kids did their presents for Grandma Munns, she will be turning 79 this week, I will let you know what we did, but not until she gets her gifts. We really wish we could be there so we could throw her a big party, but that can be next year. For the Munns side- anyone want to put on a large 80th birthday party for your mom? I am all about parties, and would love to help plan, rent, send invites, whatever. Email me and we can talk!!!!
Then there's mother's day coming up, we will be going to Kentucky and spending the weekend with my mom and brother. Now the question is how do put on a big meal when mom only has a one burner plug in thing. Well I guess Sheldon being the cook he is, can figure this one out...
And Jameel graduates from college two weeks after that, too cool! Alex, "D", and baby are planning on coming - ANYONE ELSE? Our home isn't a mansion but 3500 can fit quit a few people so if you need a place to crash let us know, our door is always open......
