Birthday Time

Today is Mercedez 7th birthday. Our day started out with getting up at 7 and getting ready for school and the day. I had gone to Super Walmart yesterday and purchased donuts and apple juice, for her class. She loves to do different, and the kids always look forward to it. School starts at 7:45 so we were ready to serve at 7:50, I took pictures of her and her class. After all the hoop-la, I went down to the doctors and had my second ultrasound. It went great, everything looks good. I was done in time to run to the school and pick Mercedez up for her birthday lunch, she chose Chinese. Then I came home for an hour and made birthday invitations for her party, looked up kids addresses and ran back to the school to pick both kids up. They were in the car 2 hours while we hand delivered the invites. Now I will relax and make her a breakfast dinner of french toast and fruit. Talk about a full day, but I love it...I actually could continue into the night with my friends, but with Sheldon gone I usually choose not to do girls night out. Sorry girl's have fun at the Cheese cake factory!!!!I will be home watching CSI, and anything else that has parts, blood and mystery...

beautiful day!

The day started out great, I woke up with the kids and Sheldon at 6:30 ( I never left the bed) the birds have a way of waking everyone up as soon as they start singing. Once the kids were off then it was Sheldon time to pack for Arizona, again I layed in bed....And then Shel took me to breakfast, let me add, we never go to breakfast - his theory is why pay for something he can cook me! We ate at the Pancake House, and I do recommend it if you are looking to share a meal. The helpings are huge, so it's a buy one get two, kind of deal...I then went to my friends Shari's and helped her hang things in her basement..
I had already arranged a friend to come over and play with the kids, so by the time they came home I was ready to go to the park and ice cream. It is hard to believe it is 72 out and by this weekend there is suppose to be snow again, sometimes I think mother nature is cruel! As tradition has it we ate out for dinner, the great healthy McDonald's....but in defense of myself- I did this because the kids played hard for 2 hours at the park and were in great need of a shower. Just now Sheldon called me to let me know he made it safe, that is always a relief to me! Now I am off to learn about gardening in Ohio, and how to grow my children some large pumpkins for Halloween.
As you can plainly see, there aren't a ton of pictures yet...I will get there, promise...
