Car issues!

Life has been treating our family really well and I guess it figured maybe a little too well. We have two vehicles like most people, one is only 3 years old and the other is older then Spencer (8), the Mazda has been on many trips from North Dakota to Utah to Oregon and now to Ohio. I think sometimes we forget how to treat our belongings and poof one day they decide to rebel. That is exactly what happened to Sheldon's car, it just up and died right on the freeway. Now our big thinking process consists of : Do we get a new car???? Or, do we pay money and fix this one, giving it a second life? Once the quotation of the price to fix it came back (2,500), you must ask yourself: if the car is worth 3000-3500 is it all worth it? Well I can't say I really care, I could take it or leave it, to be honest isn't there some kind of rule that says when one purchases a new vehicle, the older vehicle is passed to the husband and the new vehicle becomes property of the wife? So you can see why it is easy for me to say "goodbye dead car"!!!!Well luck doesn't always see a wife's point of view, instead it whispers"fix the old car and it will run another 150 thousand miles. Guess I will wait another year and when Sheldon is promoted to Captain, his gift to his loving wife can be that nice, clean vehicle......
