A book or a novel?

Today is Friday, can't believe it. Where did that week go?
Our week has been full, with scattered moments of freedom. The kids had another swimming meet on Tuesday, we didn't take pictures..sometimes it's more of a hassel trying to keep the camera away from water. Meredez took 6th in the backstroke, going from 37.55 seconds to 33.88 seconds. Spencer is having a more difficult time placing simply because his age group of boys is very competitive and they come in within a second or so of each other. It is frustrating for him, and I have explained that by next year he will be able to dive off the block and then nothing will stop him. The jumping off the block is where he looses his 1 second.
Yesterday we enjoyed a day at the pool with friends and then last night the kids had a softball game. I had a planning meeting so didn't attend, but they looked sun burned and tired at 9:00 when they came home.
Today is prep day for the swim championship tomorrow. The kids are going to have to get up around 6 and be at the pool (40 minutes away) by 7. It is going to be almost 90 and the meet lasts till 5 or so...I am trying to make sure I have everything they will need for shade, food, games, sleep, sitting, you name it. We will post pictures of the day so all can see.
