SCHOOL IS OUT!

Hard to believe the school year is already at an end....It is bittersweet for the kids, they really love their teachers this year, and Spencer made the comment about how he was sad that the last day of school was already here (this was yesterday). I think with his best friend leaving for his home country in the middle east it is especially hard on him. Mercedez takes these things a little better, she is just happy she doesn't have to do anything other then play. Our summer is going to be somewhat busy, both kids wanted to join the swim team, so now we have practice from 9-10 each morning and then 5-6 each evening, and then softball games every Tuesday and Thursday evening, with dad playing softball every Wednesday night. I really had debated on day camps but then I thought about it and I want some freedom and I want the kids to be able to have some time in which we can do other things. We have decided to buy them a 10ft pool, so they can splash around and keep cool. I would like to stay in the air conditioning as much as possible with this humidity.
