There you have it, if I could spell.....
We take our family's picture at this waterfall everytime we go to Monument, it is alsways fun to see how much the kids have grown. It had rained this particular day, that is until we reached the turn off for this. The rain cleaned off all the dirt and left us a beautiful sight. We were on our way to Portland to stay with Grandpa Wayne. That was a Saturday, then on Sunday the weather man promised it would be a great day for the beach, DOES IT LOOK LIKE A GREAT DAY? I had to laugh, after growing up half my childhood in Oregon I know Better. Truth is..we weren't prepared, when we left Ohio, I wasn't thinking, Beach! I must say, my dad was a trooper. After Spencer threw up in his Mercedes a couple miles up the road, he still was up for the beach. BOY did we freeze for the 5 minutes we were there. Talk about a long trip for 5 minutes. BUT it was beautiful....Thanks dad for the warm beds to crash in. The kids had a wonderful time picking out salt water taffy and eating carmel corn. Oh! and did I mention we went to MO'S, that is really the main reason we went, I had to have my clam chowder with it's one piece of sand...I was in heaven, and I better not forget Mercedez, she was in heaven too...
